I visited the local glider races and shot some cool footage of the guys launching in crosswinds. This is day 3 of the Region 2 SSA multi-class glider race at Mifflin, PA, USA, 5-20-15. Noted gliders are soaring legend Karl Striedieck's Dual Discus (KS) and the Pipistrel Taurus micro-light motor glider flown by Hal Loken. Slip it good! In HD from my new Vimeo channel.
